Client: Breast Care for Washington (BCW) is a nonprofit mammography screening facility that provides breast imaging for people whether they have insurance or not.
Project: BCW launched in 2012 in need of an identity that could accommodate both a long organization name and a substantial tagline.
Solution: We created a typographic logo that combined a softer identity (WashingtonDC) set off by straightforward typography for the other elements. The logo incorporates the pink that's now emblematic of breast-cancer branding, but offset but a more subtle gray.
