Client: The National Aging and Disability Transportation Center (NADTC) is a federally-funded project jointly administered by Easter Seals and the National Association of Area Agencies on Aging (n4a). NADTC's goal is to promote the availability and accessibility of transportation options for older adults, people with disabilities, and caregivers.
Project: The NADTC logo was designed at the launch of the program with the objective of being simple, accessible, and readily understood. Branding keywords included: independence, movement connections/connectivity, people/human element, freedom, and active. In addition, the logo needed to complement the logos of the managing organizations.
Solution: We created a logo with a fundamental objective of presenting both a long acronym and a long name in a way that would be self-contained and simple, and not overwhelm the audience.
These lowercase letterforms set a gentler, more fluid tone than the uppercase, and both partner organizations have logos with lowercase typography. The enclosing elements of the logo suggest transit maps, as well as the ease of transportation that NADTC works to support
Comprehensive design packages for government and nonprofit institutions.
